Kolkata waterlogged due to heavy rains

Kolkata, Oct 26 : Overnight rains led to waterlogging across Kolkata on Saturday.


"The downpour is believed to be due to deep depression over Bay of Bengal and coastal areas of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh," said CNN-IBN.

Waterlogging led to traffic jams and delaying of trains from Howrah and Sealdah railway stations causing harassment to commuters.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that the rains arelikely to continue for the next 48 hours.
