I was asked to lose weight for Sex and the City movie, says Chris Noth

Washington, October 18 : Chris Noth has revealed that he was asked to lose weight to play Carrie Bradshaw's love interest in the rom-com 'Sex and the City'.


The 58-year-old actor said that when they were filming the movie of the hit series, Michael Patrick King came up to him and said that his character was not called "Mr.Big" due to the size of his tummy, Us Magazine reported.

Noth added that he was told that before the filming starts, he should go and lose the extra weight.
