Tendulkar to play 200th Test at Wankhede

Mumbai, Oct.15 : The Programmes and Fixtures Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday confirmed that batting maestro Sachin tendulkar will play his 200th and final Test at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, his home ground, against the West Indies.


Tendulkar will play his 199th Test against the same team at Kolkata's Eden Gardens.

The committee also announced that the venues for the first two ODIs will be Kochi and Visakhapatnam, respectively, while the third ODI is yet to be decided.

Last week, Tendulkar had announced that he would be hanging up his boots after his 200th Test.

Schedule of the series between India and the West Indies is as follows:

Oct 28: The West Indies cricket team arrives in India

Oct 31-Nov 2: Three-day game (West Indies v UPCA at Cuttack)

Nov 6-10: First Test at Kolkata

Nov 14-18: Second Test at Mumbai

Nov 21: First ODI at Kochi

Nov 24: Second ODI at Visakhapatnam

Nov 27: Third ODI at Baroda/Kanpur.
