People who watch online porn reluctant to admit it: Study

Washington, Oct. 11 : Hardly anyone ever watches online porn, which is rather an indication that users are not willing to admit doing so, a new PEW study has revealed.

The PEW Internet and American Life Project has revealed that only 12 percent of people admit to watching porn, which suggests that almost everyone who replies to surveys is surely lying.

According to Cnet, the survey asked respondents to speak candidly about their online video behaviour and 57 percent of them admitted watching comedy shows and the same number watched educational videos, thereby producing contradictory results.

A mere 12 percent admitting watching sexually suggestive videos indicated an act of mass amnesia, as even Pew offered that its results may reflect reluctance to report the behaviour among some adults.

The report said that men were more open to admitting the truth with 25 percent, while only 8 percent of women admitted watching such content.
