He was rearrested in connection with the Lal Masjid killing case on Thursday
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday granted bail to Musharraf after hearing a plea moved by him in connection with the Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case.
In 2007, the Lal Masjid operation was a government crackdown on the pro-Taliban mosque in Islamabad city.
It ended with bloody eight-day siege which left several dead.
Musharraf returned to Pakistan in March after years of self-exile in the UK.
Musharraf rose to power in Pakistan in a coup in 1999. He had stepped down from the power in 2008 and was threatened with impeachment, which resulted in his self-exile.
