Ecaudor's Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino said that more than a year has passed and Assange is in their diplomatic mission and they are analyzing their next course of action in the coming months.
According to Express Tribune, Patino indicated the possibility of seeking the world court's help after trying every diplomatic avenue to resolve the conflict.
Assange, has been charged with espionage for leaking highly classified US military and diplomatic documents and fears prosecution by the US.
The WikiLeaks founder took refuge in the Ecuadorean embassy in July last year in a bid to escape extradition to Sweden over separate sexual assault charges.
The report said that although Ecuador has granted Assange diplomatic asylum valid till August 16, 2016, but Britain has refused to extend him a safe passage out of the country.
Patino said that the Ecuadorean authorities have insisted that UK names a team of professionals to find a legal, political and diplomatic solution, but so far they haven't got any positive response.
