Six kg heroin seized in Punjab

Amritsar, Oct 9 : Six kg of heroin worth Rs.30 crore in the international market was seized in Punjab Wednesday, officials said here.

Two people were arrested, police officer Amarjit Singh Bajwa said. The seizure was made after a car was intercepted near the Sultanwind canal near Amritsar.

Bajwa said the arrested men revealed the heroin was sent by a Pakistan-based smuggler.
