Miley Cyrus mocks government shutdown on Saturday Night Live

Washington, October 7 : Miley Cyrus made fun of the US government shutdown during her hosting gig on 'Saturday Night Live.'

The 20-year-old singer made a parody of her hit track 'We Can't Stop', by calling it 'We Can Stop' as a spoof on Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann along with Taran Killam, who acts as the Republican House Speaker John Boehner, Contactmusic reported.

The parody shows Cyrus singing "La da dee la dee, Republican Party, reppin' GOP, doing whatever we want, this is our house/This is our house, this is our rules, and we did stop (the government), we did stop (shut that down)," as smoke comes out of 'Uncle Sam's' crotch and a toy elephant is seen bleeding 'Pepto-Bismol'.
