According to the Mirror, Angelow's boozy youthful stunt has now been immortalised on the cover of a pop album.
He streaked into the history books as England batted on the fourth day, with the match heading towards a draw, the report said.
The streaker was fined 20 pounds for his beer-fuelled streak but he won the same sum in the bet, which prompted his spontaneous race across the hallowed turf.
Angelow said that he had been drinking before the incident but did not have enough and he would not have been able to jump over the stumps if he had.
He said that he could not remember much about it, except that England's Alan Knott was batting at one end.
Photos of the incident show Knott and Aussie fielders laughing at Michael's antics, the report added.
Test Match Special pundit John Arlott was clearly confused and called the pitch invader a freaker, according to the report.
