The settlement requires Bang With Friends to change its name and rebrand its services in the near future.
According to the New York Daily News, the casual sex app's name was familiar to Zynga's 'Words With Friends' and 'Chess With Friends' games.
Bang With Friends Inc. said that it acknowledges the trademark rights that Zynga has in its 'with friends' marks and will be changing its corporate name and rebranding its services.
The casual sex app developer company further said that details on the next version of Bang With Friends can be found at www.TheNextBang.com.
The report said that the app, which the company's CEO Chris Hodge claims to have 1.2 million users and has hooked up more than 2, 00,000 couples via social media sites Facebook and Twitter, was removed from Apple's iTunes store in May, before being allowed to return after it changed its name to the less explicit 'Down'.
