Six militants killed in Pakistan

Islamabad, Oct 2 : At least six militants were killed and four police personnel injured in an operation launched by the security forces in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi Wednesday.

According to police, the city's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) launched the operation on a tip-off, killing six militants and recovering a huge cache of arms from the spot, reported Xinhua.

Police said the militants belonged to the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban outfit.
