Two schoolgirls raped in Himachal

Shimla, Oct 2 : Two schoolgirls were allegedly raped in two separate incidents at Shimla city of Himachal Pradesh, said reports on Wednesday.

According to reports, a 15-year-old girl, a resident of Vikas Nagar, was allegedly gangraped by her classmate and a taxi driver in Shimla on Tuesday.

Both of the accused have been arrested.

Reports said the victim's family knew both the accused.

In a separate incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a shopkeeper when she came from her village near Kufri to meet a relative at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla.

The victim told the police that he took her to a hotel, raped her and threw her near the hospital on Wednesday morning.

The accused has been arrested.
