Kolkata food joint lays out Puja spread

Kolkata, Oct 2 : Multi-cuisine restaurant Sand at De Sovrani, located at Salt Lake in Kolkata, on Tuesday launched the ' Sabeki Food Festival' (Traditional Food Festival) to celebrate the Durga Puja festival from Oct 10 to 14.

The restaurant said the exclusive spread will remind and reflect of days when the concept of pack and move was yet to invade in our daily life. The mouthwatering traditional delicacies are on offer as food is a major component to uplift the spirit of festivity, they said.

On all the five days of festivity they will be laying on a Bengali Spread on both Lunch and Dinner from a selection of Narkol Sorse diye Chingri,Tel Koi,Parshe macher jhal, Jire ada diye Khasir Mangsho, Bhapa murgi, Borishaler murgi, Kachur Datar Ghanto,Khoi Er Bodar Jhol,Thod Er Chechki .

There will also be a huge spread of other vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies from West and East Bengal with a variety of Misti (Sweets).
