Also present at the event were well known faces from the Bengali music fraternity like Arundhati Holme Chaudhury, Haimanti Shukla, Shivaji Chatterjee, Anupam Ray, Somlata Choudhury, Joy Sarkar, Saptak and others.
The second runner up of music reality show Indian Idol season 3, Emon said, "It is like my long-cherished dream come true and hence the name 'Ichche Puron' (fulfillment of wishes)."
The launch was attended by his wife Ananya Chatterjee and his parents Mainak and Sutapa Chatterjee, who have been a constant pillar of support for this rising singer.
Emon's father recalled Emon's childhood memories and said, "When he was not even two, he would not go off to sleep without some Rashid Khan numbers being played on the tape recorder for him."
Shivaji Chatterjee revealed Emon's passion for music and said, "The boy is a musicaholic and this is evident from the 36 to 37 guitars one can find while paying a visit to his place."
Amongst all the pomp and celebrations, Emon did not skip a special mention of the names Rajesh Datta and Rakesh Datta writer and composer of two songs of the album, who were also present at the event.
