'I have not changed after marriage' : Kareena Kapoor Khan
How has life changed for you after marriage?
I have not changed at all after marriage. And hopefully, nothing has and will ever change in my marriage. At least, that's what a woman should hope for.
It seems the whole world knows about your routine after marriage.
These days nothing is private about an actor's life. Pick up a magazine and it's all there.
What drives you when it comes to your married life?
I am all hearts. I live my life like that. I can't speak about anyone else. My heart rules my mind.
You have teamed up with Imran Khan a second time for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. How is it different from your first film together - Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012)?
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Imran will always be a special film for me. The film was slightly English. It was not for the masses. It was a classy film. But Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is completely opposite, which is, mad. It is a film everybody will like.
Has your husband Saif Ali Khan seen the trailer?
Yes. Saif has seen the trailer. He thinks it's fun.
Being the most stylish actor of Bollywood, do you give tips to Saif?
It's Saif who is India's most stylish actor. There is no doubt about that. I should be getting tips from him. He is so suave that even if he is in a T-shirt and jeans he looks so stylish. I am always on my toes that I have to look good with him.
You were the first star to feature on the new version of Filmfare magazine in September issue. How did you feel?
It is every actor's dream to be on the cover of Filmfare and win a Filmfare award. And I am no less than an actor. My parents (yesteryear actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita) have been on the cover of Filmfare (magazine). And now I am on the cover and that too when Filmfare is reinventing itself and going fashion forward after 60 years.
Do you think being the covergirl of most magazines for maximum times give you and edge over your contemporaries?
It's unfair to comment ... these days every star is on every other cover.
How does it feel to become the covergirl of almost all magazines in the country?
I don't know what to say. It's overwhelming that I have been on so many covers of so many magazines. If you take only Filmfare magazine, I have been on the cover 19 or 20 times so far. But it's never enough when it comes to Filmfare covers and Filmfare awards for us actors.
What do you prefer - a print or electronic interview?
I am old-school. I prefer sitting and chatting over a cup of coffee with a journalist instead of always being conscious of the camera facing you during a television interview. That way it becomes more of a conversation and make me really feel like talking.
Do you think actors have become more accessible now?
Yes, you are right. Now-a-days actors are not just known for the films they do. There are events, functions, advertisements ... so many other things. I love my brand endorsements and happily balance everything. However, I am not into social media. That thing is yet to appeal to me.
