Modi to address 'Vikas rally' in Delhi

New Delhi, Sept 29 : Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 general elections, Narendra Modi is all set to address a mega rally in the national capital on Sunday.

The BJP is leaving no stone unturned to make the 'Vikas rally' (development rally) successful.

The party said that it expects at least five lakh people to attend the event that is scheduled to begin at 10 am.

About 80 foreign missions have been invited with about 35 missions confirming their attendance.

Security has been beefed up for the rally as dozens of CCTV cameras and hundreds of private security guards have been deployed to man the massive crowds.

Around 3,000 policemen and paramilitary personnel will also provide security in and around the venue.

Special buses have been arranged to bring in students and supporters from far-flung areas of Delhi. Even, the Delhi Metro will run extra train services for the supporters' commutation.
