CL T20: Mumbai beat Lions

Jaipur, Sept 27 : Mumbai Indians beat Highveld Lions by seven wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Friday.


Chasing 141, Mumbai Indians reached the target by losing only three wickets.

Dwayne Smith gave Mumbai a solid start with his 63 off 47 balls. He hit four boundaries and three sixes in his knock.

Kieron Pollard played a crucial knock of unbeaten 31 to help Mumbai Indians reach the target quite comfortably.

Earlier, Lions scored 140 for five in 20 overs.

Alviro Petersen top scored for the side with his unbeaten 35.

Pragyan Ojha picked up two wickets for Mumbai Indians.
