M.S. Vishwanathan, Vani Jairam to receive PBS Puraskar

Hyderabad, Sep 26 : Renowned singer-composer M.S. Vishwanathan and singer Vani Jairam will be honoured with PBS Puraskar here Sep 29 in fond memory of the late singer P.B. Srinivas, who passed away in April 2013.

The award is being presented by Aruna Nithya Gopal Foundation, an eye care institution.

"M.S. Vishwanathan and Vani Jairam will be bestowed upon with the PBS Puraskar on Sep 29 at Ravindra Bharati. Visionary producer D. Ramanaidu will be the chief guest of the event," said a statement.

Percussionist Sivamani will perform at the event, which will also be graced by several other key members of the industry.
