Onyokshetra launches 'Biswaloker'

Kolkata, Sept 24 : Bengali singer Kshetra Madhab Das on Monday launched his latest music album under the banner of Onyokshetra based on 'Rabindranather Gaan' titled 'Biswaloker' here.

Kshetra Madhab Das, a doctor by profession made a comeback nearly after 20 years in the world of music with artistic earnestness and introspection that he continued developing in all these years.

His first concert was held in the year 1994 when he shared the stage with Chandrabindoo and Anjan Dutta.

The album comprises of Tagore's nine songs on six different seasons clubbed with some creative lyrics and composition and an outlook that is contemporary.

This journey incredibly covers a widely existing Bengali folk, African folk- drum complemented by Indian classical, Arabian tune and rhythm, Rap interrupted by monotone, the songs well blended with Chinese melody, the melancholic tone of Rabindrasangeet and the styles of Latino and Opera well mixed with the same.

The singers who made the exploration with music so variable and fantastic are Upal Sengupta, Anindya Chattopadhay, Prashmita Paul, Satadal Chatterjee, Sudakshina Dhar, Soma Dhar, Udichi Usha Das and Onyo Kshetra.
