After charging Rs 5 for Narendra Modi's Hyderabad rally in August, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be imposing Rs 10-entry fee from everyone who wants to attend its prime ministerial candidate's rally in Bangalore next month, reports said on Tuesday.

"Please don't say charging, it's a voluntary contribution. This is a good change for Indian politics," Karnataka BJP' state general secretary, Nirmal Kumar Surana, told NDTV.

The party will also be charging Rs. 5 per head for Modi's rally in Bhopal next week.

However, the contribution will be made only by party workers.

Earlier in August, the money collected from Modi's rally in Hyderabad was reportedly donated to aid the relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood-ravaged Uttarakhand.
