HML on ride with underprivileged children
Indian automaker Hindustan Motors Limited (HML) the flagship venture of the CK Birla Group as a part of its' corporate social responsibility (CSR) organised a ride for the under-privileged children from different corners of the city here on Saturday.
The ride to the city roads with places like Nehru Children's Museum, Akashvani Bhawan, Eden Garden, Raj Bhawan, Princep Ghat and Victoria Memorial led to the outcome that is none other than happiness with children of the Missionaries of Charity's Shishu Bhawan, HML noted.
The children were taken to the All India Radio's (AIR) studio where they observed the process of recording.
The day long ride ended near Victoria Memorial where the outspreading spirits of the youngsters were left open and they conveyed their heartiest pleasure in being a part of the 'joy ride'.
Uttam Bose, Managing Director and CEO, Hindustan Motors Ltd., said, "HML has always been deeply conscious of its corporate social responsibility. Therefore it was for no other benefits but for the benefit of the under- privileged children that we extended our support."
"Similar tours across the city borders had been conducted earlier with equal enthusiasm and joy," Bose added.
HML had recently launched the BSIV compliant 1.5-liter diesel-powered Ambassador Encore.
