CL T20: CSK defeat Titans by four wickets

Ranchi, Sept 22 : Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Titans by four wickets in the third match of the Champions League T20 at JSCA International Stadium Complex here on Sunday.

Chasing 186 for victory, CSK reached 187 by losing six wickets in 18.5 overs.

Suresh Raina (47) and Mike Hussey (47) added 89 runs in the second wicket partnership that helped CSK clinch the match quite easily on Sunday.

Dwayne Bravo contributed 38 runs off 26 balls which helped CSK in the run chase. He hit four boundaries and two sixes in his knock.

Rowan Richards picked up three wickets for Titans.

In a high-scoring encounter, Titans earlier scored 185 for five in 20 overs.

AB de Villiers top scored for Titans with his 36-ball 77. He hammered three boundaries and seven sixes in his knock.

In the other match of the day, Trinidad and Tobago defeated Brisbane Heat by 25 runs.

After posting 135 for nine in 20 overs, Trinidad and Tobago bowlers bowled Brisbane out for 110 in 18.4 overs.
