He conducted the workshop for the students of Sapphire Dance Company for three weeks and showcased the composition 'Afro-Disiac' on Saturday evening.
'Afro-Disiac' combines the athleticism of West African dance with Pilobolus-styled or contemporary modern dance partnering.
This dance is not just a celebration of life but recognition of the timeless beauty of attraction. This dance created images from nature such as plants and animals by combining dancers into partnering configurations of duets, trios and quartets.
The program is part of U.S. Consulate Kolkata's initiative to further Indo-U.S. cultural ties.
