Nayika Sangbad depicts present situation of Tollywood

Kolkata, Sept 21 : The team of Tollywood movie 'Nayika Sangbad' directed by Bappaditya Bandopadhyay on Friday voiced their opinions and ideas regarding the present situation of the film industry and the difficulties witnessed by anyone from the industry here.

The film is set to hit the theatres on Sept 27.

The team reported that conceptually, the film takes the industry to a different level as it climbs up the ladder in the shoes of the character Diya Chatterjee and finally depicts the circumstances that creates shadow as she goes missing.

Bappaditya Bandopadhyay talked about the clumsiness that has increased in industry and also in human lives.

"This film goes off-beat, though in today's world we find the mainstream films merging somewhere with the off-beat films," he said.

Speaking on occasion, actress Arunima Ghosh said, "This is a turning point of my career. Here I am playing the role of the protagonist, Diya Chatterjee, who has so many shades. Bappa da has tried extracting the best out of me in this film, now it's up to the audience and their final call."
