"They took two diaries from me. Both had evidence against corruption done by the UPA government," Ramdev said.
According to reports, British customs officials detained Ramdev and grilled him for over eight years for reasons not clear to media.
While some reports said he was detained for touring the country on a visitor visa instead of a business one, other reports said he was questioned on the Hindi and Sanskrit books and medicines he was carrying.
Ramdev will have to reappear for interrogation on Saturday.
The yoga guru went to London to attend a function organised by his Patanjali Yogpeeth on the 120th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
