RR ready for CLT20: Dravid

New Delhi, Sept 19 : Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid has said his side is ready for the upcoming Champions League T20.

"You have to play six-seven matches for that (winning the tournament). If we keep up the performance that we had in the IPL and the spirit remains the same and if we play to our potential, I hope that we will stay in contention," David was quoted as saying by the Champions League T20 website.

"We have been preparing, and you can't prepare too much. Those who hadn't practiced much had come a week before and we have been practicing. So we are ready," he said.

The side was hit by the spot fixing scam during this year's Indian Premier League (IPL)

The lid was blown off the IPL scam after Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan - were arrested along with 11 bookies from Mumbai on May 16 for their role in spot-fixing in the tournament.
