'Quizness 13' to challenge the business minds

Bengaluru, Sept 17 : Bengaluru based GICE B-School on Tuesday announced the first grand chapter of its national level Biz-Quiz contest - Quizness '13.

The event will be held at the GICE campus on Sept 28.

GICE B-School will host the contest in association with Harley Davidson to provide a platform for the best business minds in the country to expose their knowledge and tactics about the industry and economy.

Announcing the launch of Quizness'13, Somendra Chaudhary, Chairman, GICE- B School said, "Today's corporate scenario corporate scenario is a battle of absorbing the best and staying ahead of the race. At GICE, we open up a world of opportunities for aspiring MBA graduates. Our aim is to foster an environment for knowledge sharing and knowledge enhancement.

"Through Quizness '13, we intend to nurture a business environment and provide exposure to the business minds of the country and thereby, breaking out of silos to enhance knowledge sharing," Chaudhary said.

Rajeev Paripurnam, Dean, GICE B-School, said, "We are proud and delighted to be hosting a biz-quiz of this magnitude. The event will attract undergraduate students from across the country to participate in the event. GICE will use this contest as a way to showcase the strengths and competence of talented students who will shape the country's future progressively.

"We are also extremely pleased with the support and response we've received to date to making GICE's Business Quiz Show - Quizness '13 a great success with enhanced levels of participation and knowledge," said Paripurnam.

The Biz-Quiz intends to test the students in various aspects of business and will gather teams of participants from across the country to battle it out in a healthy competition of knowledge.

Six teams of finalists will be promoted to the Grand Finale after competing against each other in the preliminary rounds.

Online registrations are open. Last date for online registration is Sept 27.

Spot registrations accepted till 28th September 9:30 AM.
