Molesters attack youth protecting sister

Mumbai, Sept 16 : A Mumbai youth was allegedly beaten up by a group of minors for trying to protect his sister from getting molested, said reports on Monday.


According to reports, a group of boys had been molesting the youth's sister for months at Kandivali area of Mumbai. When she complained to him, the youth faced the boys and asked them to stop harassing her.

"That day they did not say anything. But when they found him alone a couple of days back, they attacked my cousin with knives and rods. He is critical in hospital," said the girl.

The police said two of the attackers have been arrested.
