Asif Iqbal calls for Misbah to be replaced as Pak ODI captain

Islamabad, Sept 16 : Former Pakistan captain Asif Iqbal has said that there is no room for current captain Misbah-ul-Haq in the one-day side and he should be replaced in the team and as captain in that format.

In an interview with, Iqbal expressed that performances by the one-day side under the leadership of Misbah had not been good enough and a fresh outlook was needed in the fifty over format.

However, the former player said that Misbah should continue as captain of the Test side.

He added that although performances in South Africa and Zimbabwe had been below par, there was nobody willing or ready to take over the Test captaincy.
