Odisha: 14 Maoists killed in encounter

Bhubaneswar, Sept 14 : At least 14 Maoists were killed in an encounter with state police in Malkangiri district of Odisha late Friday night, said reports.

According to reports on Saturday, heavy bullet exchange took place between Malkangiri Superintendent of Police Akhileswar Singh-led team and Maoists near the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border.

A huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain Maoists.
