Lladro unveils 'Ram Darbar' Diwali collection

Kolkata, Sept 13 : Angeles Lladro, the Vice President of Spanish luxury porcelain company Lladro launched 'Ram Darbar' a special limited edition sculpture range exclusively for this Diwali here at the company's flagship South City mall boutique on Thursday.

The 'Ram Darbar' range which is now a complete edition had only sculptures of Lord Ram and Sita one year ago until now when Lladro further launched sculptures of Lakshman and Hanuman.

'Ram Darbar' belongs to the collection of 'The Spirit of Joy', which also includes Goddess Lakshmi, a whole Ganesha series, Divine Love, Radha Krishna, Lord Krishna, Sacred Cow, Indian dance among others, the company noted.

Llardo also unveiled several other beautiful creations like the Bacchante on a Panther (The Art of exuberance in Porcelain), Carnival Fantasy, Venetian Carnival (Re- Decole), Gabriela B, Elegant Foxtrotle, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Lladro said, "Ram Darbar is a creation that has a connect with every Hindu family and Diwali that itself spreads a lot of joy and happiness reflects the 'home coming'. This journey is taking us miles ahead in our venture for the search of beauty."

Spreading its wings in almost all metropolitan cities in India, Lladro is also a distributor of handcrafted creations in over 120 countries.

The sculptures start from a price of Rs 3500 and go up to Rs.1.40 crores in Indian market.
