Addressing a massive gathering at the conclusion of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's 'Suraj Sankalp Yatra' at Amroodon ka Bagh ground in Jaipur, Modi said: "The direction of the wind is clear. On the land of Rajasthan there will be a sea of change."
"Vasundharaji has gone among the people, shared their joys and sorrows. Vasundharaji has compassion for the people of Rajasthan. She lives for the people of Rajasthan," he said.
"I did not read in news on Yatra but when I met people from Rajasthan they told me- next week we are going to Rajasthan. Everywhere this is happening they said we are going for Vasundharaji's Yatra," he said.
"People told me, we made a mistake 5 years ago, we are going to correct that mistake of the last election," he said.
Taking a dig at Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Modi said remedy to corruption in Congress is to drink poison.
"Vasundhara jiwas saying that the Rajastan CM says he is working very hard, even drinking poison," said Modi.
"What is it that every Congressman wants poison in Rajasthan? And I think the remedy to corruption is in poison. That explains," he said.
Without naming the Gandhi family, Modi, who is BJP's campaign committee head for the 2014 general elections, said the Congress worships only a particular family.
"If we see the poor situation of the nation today, we need to think why it has happened. There is a big difference between Congress of before 1947 and after it. After 1947 it is immersed in Bhakti of one family," he said.
"BJP is immersed in Bharat Bhakti. It is for the well being of the 125 crore people of India," said Modi.
He said the present Congress government has no accountability.
"We have seen a Government that lacks ability to lead and take decisions. There is absolutely no accountability. They are not willing to answer anything," said Modi.
Listing the numerous scams that surfaced during the Congress regime, Modi said: "Congress has invented a new way to recite alphabets with each letter standing for something different."
"Now a students will learn A for Adarsh Scam, B-Bofors Scam, C-CWG Scam, D- Damad Ka Karobar (Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and DLF controversy)," he said.
"Corruption is a part of Congress. The person who is more corrupt succeeds in Congress. With Congress we cannot make India corruption free. To make India corruption free the medicine is to free ourselves of Congress," the BJP leader said.
"This is a government without a Neta (leader), Naitikta (morality), Niyat (intention), Niti (policy)," he said.
Referring to the fall of Indian rupee against the US dollar, Modi said: "What is the situation of the rupee? Gujaratis and Marwari understand commerce well. Sadly, rupee is in the hospital."
"Question for Congress is - do we save the government or the falling rupee. Other question is do we save our image or the nation? Sadly Congress wants to save its own image and the government," he said.
"Nation remembers the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government under Atal ji (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) and Advani ji (LK Advani)," he said.
He said the Jaipur-Delhi highway built during the NDA regime is on the verge of demolition.
"When we remember the Jaipur-Delhi highway we remember Atal ji. But what is happened to it. UPA did not walk on Atal ji's path but it did not even keep the paths Atal ji created in good shape," he said.
"Margaret Alvaji, the Governor of Rajasthan, herself said that it is not possible to travel on Jaipur-Delhi highway," said Modi.
Modi said the youth of Rajasthan can give the state a new direction.
"I am seeing the anger of the youth. And my young friends, do you know the strength you have. The youth of Rajasthan can give a new direction. But you have to do one thing- no youth must be left unregistered as a voter," he said.
"For Congress, youth is a voter but for us youth is power, the strength of India," he said, adding, "Youngsters must be excited to become voters."
Modi said people want to defeat the Congress government in Delhi.
"There is a wave, people want to defeat the Congress-led Government in Delhi. The ballot box does not fill till you do not come out, the strength of the workers is very important," he said.
In an attempt to gain support ahead of the Rajasthan assembly polls, Vasundhara Raje on Apr 4 started the 'Suraj Sankalp Yatra' from Charbhujaji temple in Rajasthan's Udaipur city.
Raje travelled 14,500 kms and held 181 public meetings in 181 out of 200 assembly constituencies.
