According to reports, 22 students of the MC Kejriwal Vidyapeeth accompanied by two teachers will be leaving for Orlando, Florida (USA) on Sept 19 to attend a training program at NASA.

The itinerary includes a 3-day intensive workshop on robotics; a first hand experience of space technology, micro gravity, rocket designing and launching; and learning about the various other aspects of NASA's space program.

Kejriwal said, "To be an achiever, one must go out, have challenging experiences, and learn from the best resources in the world. We want our students to be winners."

"We, at MCKV, believe that travel and exposure to other cultures is an important feature of education, and that this trip will be a horizon-widening and life-changing experience for the students."

He added, "Both the students and the teachers are looking forward to this excursion which, they are confident, will be a great learning opportunity and an exhilarating experience. The school hopes to organize many such educational trips in the future."

The school noted that the educational tour will also include visits to interesting places like the Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios in Orlando; Niagara Falls in Buffalo; Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Madam Tussaud's in New York.

This trip has been arranged by the Delhi based Atlantis Innovation and Edu Travels to inculcate in students a scientific spirit, an understanding of the ways of working of a top class aeronautical organization and to give them an opportunity to learn from the best of the world.
