Katy Perry's single 'Roar' tops UK's music charts

London, Sept. 9 : Katy Perry's hit new track 'Roar', from her upcoming album 'Prism', has nabbed the number 1 spot at UK's music charts.


The Official Charts Company said that the particular single, which replaced Ellie Goulding's 'Burn', sold 179,500 copies over the past week, becoming the UK's third-fastest selling single of the year so far, the BBC reported.

Earlier, in the US, the 28-year-old singer overtook Robin Thicke 'Blurred Line's 12-week run at the US Billboard Hot 100.
