Pakistani singer Zebunnisa Bangash moves into Bollywood

Islamabad, Sept 4 : Pakistani artist Zebunnisa Bangash of the musical band 'Zeb and Haniya', who made her debut in 'Madras Cafe' with the track 'Mile Ajnabee,' has crossed over to Bollywood.

Zeb told the Express Tribune that she was very happy that she got to record her first playback single with Shantanu Moitra, with whom she has worked on the Dewarists.

She said that her fans will see her working more in Bollywood in the coming months.

Bangash, who along with her cousin Haniya released their debut album in 2008, said that she was a bit apprehensive to work in Indian Cinema, as it is such a big industry.

She said that she has a lot of respect for Bollywood music as she grew up listening to this kind of music.

Zeb is also interested in doing music for Pakistani films and she had been tabbed earlier to feature on the soundtrack of Shaan's film 'Chup.'
