Benedict Cumberbatch 'not' starring in Star Wars: Episode VII

New York, Sept 4 : Benedict Cumberbatch will not be starring in the new 'Star Wars' movie as it was earlier rumoured, it has been revealed.

The 'Star Trek Into Darkness' star had been rumoured to be attached to director J.J. Abrams' long-awaited sequel to the original 'Star Wars' trilogy.

However, his rep told the New York Daily News that the actor will not be cast as earlier reported in 'Star Wars: Episode VII'.
