Nasik trainee dies, 10 held for ragging

Nasik, Sept 3 : The police on Tuesday arrested 10 graduate trainees of a multi-national company in Nasik in Maharashtra after a 19-year-old girl working with them died in hospital.

According to reports, the Pranali Rahane had slit her wrist and tried to hang herself in her bedroom two nights ago.

Rahane's parents rescued her and rushed her to hospital.

However, the girl succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.

She had left a note and named the 10 trainees for ragging her.

The police said the accused were arrested on Tuesday on charges of abetment to suicide and under anti-ragging laws.

Rahane had been training with the multi-national for more than two years.
