Kirsten named Delhi Daredevils head coach

New Delhi, Sep 3 : Former India coach Gary Kirsten was Tuesday roped in as head coach of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Daredevils.

"The #DelhiDaredevils is delighted to welcome @Gary_Kirsten as Head Coach. He will work with Team Mentor TA Sekar and Eric Simons," Daredevils twitter account read.

The former South Africa batsman was declared the head coach of the Delhi outfit in Hyderabad.

Photos of his press conference were put up on the twitter handle of Daredevils.

"Ye hai apna naya munda @Gary_Kirsten who joins us as the head coach #DD #ApneMunde. Gary Kirsten joins the Delhi Daredevils as Head Coach. Here he is seen addressing the media in Hyderabad along.
