"Asaram Bapu is cooperating with us in the investigation process. We interrogated him for five hours," Jodhpur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph told reporters.
"Doctors have examined him and said there is no evidence of him being unwell. We have asked doctors to conduct a potency test on him," he said.
Meanwhile, the one-day police custody of Asaram ended on Monday.
"We have asked for his police custody. We still have some issues to be completed," said Joseph.
"We have to take his version on evidence that we have gathered," he said.
The Jodhpur Police on Sunday brought Asaram to the city, after arresting him on Saturday night from his Indore ashram in Madhya Pradesh in connection with the sexual assault case.
The godman was taken to a Jodhpur police station, where he was questioned.
According to reports, he has denied the charges.
NDTV channel citing sources reported that the police may also take him to the scene of the alleged crime in his ashram, 35 km outside Jodhpur, for questioning.
Asaram on Friday failed to appear before the Jodhpur Police for questioning in connection to the case.
The police earlier rejected the self-styled godman's plea to be granted more time to appear before them, reports said.
A 15-year-old girl, who was staying at Asaram's hostel in Rajasthan's Jodhpur, has filed a First Information Report (FIR) at Kamla market police station in Delhi alleging she was sexually assaulted by the godman.
