The 27-year-old adult film star told Refinery 29 that mentioning 'need for porn exclusively for women' isolates them as a gender, as it refers to controlling how women should think and how their sexuality should be, the Huffington Post reported.
Deen, who has co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in Paul Schrader's 'The Canyons' said that porn is counterproductive to the equality movement as the choice in porn might vary from woman to woman, from high production value and beautiful sex to BDSM things with beating, degradation.
He said that pornography is made for individuals to find what they enjoy, and what arouses them.
Deen insisted that there was no market research on this as sexuality is always developing, growing, and evolving , which might led to receiving a million answers for what a million people like in porn at that particular moment.
He added that women make up an estimated one-third of visitors to pornography websites and it is not known how many actually search for keywords such as porn for women.
