According to reports, chargesheets were filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against Tytler and arms dealer Avishek Verma, who was lodged in Tihar Jail already, for use of forged letterhead to seek business visa concessions in 2009.
Reports said the letter was given to a China-based company.
The case against Verma was filed on a complaint by Ajay Maken, who is a Congress general secretary now and formerly a union sports minister and a junior home minister.
According to media reports, Tytler has denied his role in the case.
