London, August 30 : Jermain Defoe has reportedly placed 14 designer togs on eBay to help out homeless and abused children on the Caribbean island of St Lucia, where his mother was born, through the Jermain Defoe Foundation.

The 30-year old Spurs striker, who is famous for his loud shirts, jackets and T-shirts made by expensive brands such as Christian Dior and Dolce and Gabbana, started the auction, which closes on Saturday, at 10 pounds plus postage and packaging, the Daily Star reported.

Defoe tweeted to advertise the auction stating that he is selling some of his favourite clothes for charity.
