Camellia Group launches Agora club in Kolkata

Kolkata, Aug 28 : Tollywood actor Prasenjit Chatterjee and actress Rituparna Sengupta on Tuesday were present on the launch of the new club, Agora at New Town, Axis Mall here.

The crew of recently released Bengali movie 'Alik Sukh' was present with actors Sohini Sengupta, Shibprasad Mukhopadhyay, Nandita Roy and Debshankar Halder along with fashion designer Agnimitra Paul.

Agora comprises of a Chinese dining restaurant named Yin Yang, a retro theme based restaurant, private dining space, lounge bar, banquet hall, spa cafe and health cafe.

"We are planning to open 30 restaurants in the coming 12 months across the whole country," said N.K Dutta chairman of Camellia group.

Dutta said, "In last 10 years, we are very successful in forming 17 educational institutes. Now we have shifted our focus on hospitality management. Thus we have opened this club where people can come over and entertain themselves."

He said, "Guests will have the privilege to taste octopus and Thai food in the Chinese section."

Prasenjit Chatterjee said, "Mr Dutta, chairman of Camellia group is a very close friend of mine."

He said, "The 22 years of journey of Camellia group has been a tremendous one all through. I wish a very good luck to the whole Camellia group. This club is helpful for me because this is very near to the airport."

"If there is any kind of trouble related to flights, then now I am sure that I have a place to stay," Chatterjee added.

Speaking on the occasion, Rituparna Sengupta said, "I heard that there are 2000 employees here in Camellia group. I would like to congratulate Mr Dutta not only for building a new club in the city but also for taking care of the employees."

She said, "And thus I can say that he is an achiever. I am very happy that I am a part of this journey. This club is a new feather added to Camellia group. I am also planning to halt here quite often."
