Two killed in Afghanistan suicide bombing

Kabul, Aug 28 : At least two people, including the attacker, were killed in a suicide bombing near a government building here Tuesday evening, police said.

"One man detonated his explosive jacket near the entrance of ministry of power and water resources. The bomber was killed on the spot and one civilian also died as a result of the explosion," Xinhua reported quoting a police source as saying.

The target of the attack has not been ascertained, according to the source.

The incident happened in an area where several government buildings, including the parliament building, are located.
