Bo said former associate Wang Lijun's testimony against him was full of lies and fraud, BBC reports.
Lijun, who has been jailed for 15 years for defection, power abuse and bribe-taking, had testified against his old boss on Saturday saying that Bo had punched him after he told the politician his wife was responsible for the death of Heywood.
Bo has been accused of covering up the fact that his wife Gu Kailai had murdered UK businessman Neil Heywood in 2011.
His wife has also testified against her husband implicating him in corruption charges, the report added.
However, Bo explained the court earlier that his extra marital affairs had led to his estranged relations with his wife since many years.
While her financial troubles in raising up the son and wanting to get a lighter sentence in the Heywood's murder case was the reason that his wife fabricated evidence against him, he said.
He, meanwhile, acknowledged making serious errors of judgement, but said the charges against him were exaggerated.
Many analysts had earlier said that the outcome of the trial was predetermined with a guilty verdict for Bo.
However, Bo has continuously been denying wrongdoing.
