India U23 beats UAE to reach final of Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup

Singapore, Aug 23 : India U23 achieved a 46-run victory over UAE in the first semi-final of the Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup being played at Singapore, to book a place in the final scheduled for August 25.

India had given UAE a target of 209 after being bowled out with one ball remaining, and their opponents were bundled out for 162 in 48.3 overs.

Manprit Juneja, who plays for the Delhi Daredevils, top scored for India U23 with 76 runs off 121 balls.

Akshar Patel got four wickets in his 8.3 overs giving away 29 runs.
