India U23 beats Nepal by 84 runs in Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup

Singapore, Aug 20 : India U23 got a comfortable victory over Nepal in the Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup, after they set their opponents a target of 269, and restricted them to 184/8 in their allotted 50 overs.

Lokesh Rahul top scored for India with 88 runs off 123 balls, while Unmukt Chand too made an impressive 61 off 77 balls.

However, it was captain Suryakumar Yadav who stole the show with a fiery knock of 65 off 39 balls.

Maharashtra's Ankit Bawne got three wickets, while Mumbai Indians bowler Jasprit Bumrah got two.
