Haddin insists Oz team good enough to win last Ashes Test

Sydney, Aug 20 : Australian vice-captain Brad Haddin has said that his team deserves to win a Test in the current Ashes series although England was clearly the better side with a 3-0 lead.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Australia have been in the contest in Trent Bridge and Chester-le-Street before falling at the final hurdle, while at Old Trafford they seemed the team to win until rain intervened.

The tourists could become the first Australian team to lose a series 4-0 on English soil, but Haddin is hoping justice prevails in the fifth Test at The Oval, the report said.

Haddin said that he thought the Australians played good enough cricket on the tour to deserve a win and there was a lot of belief in the change room that they could win the last Test match.

He said that the team had been in positions over the Test series to win matches, but they just had not been good enough in the right moments.
