Eight dead in Bengal road accident

Siliguri, Aug 20 : Eight people, including a child, were killed and 11 others were injured in a road accident involving a truck and two microvans in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district Tuesday, police said.


Two of the victims died on the spot while the others perished later, police said.

The accident occurred when a truck carrying potatoes rammed into the two microvans at Rangalibajna under Madarihat police station of Alipurduar sub-division.
