WB: Bomb explodes inside bus, 5 injured

Jalpaiguri, Aug 18 : At least five people were injured when a bomb exploded inside a bus on Sunday at Barobisha Chowpati in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district, reports said.

The passenger bus was bound for Phuentsholing in neighbouring Bhutan from Assam.

The bomb, concealed at the rear side of the bus, exploded when the bus stopped at the Chowpati and passenger were about to disembark.

According to reports, police have reached the spot.

The injured were rushed to the Alipurduar civil hospital for treatment.
